Terms of Service
1. General Agreement
By using this website or engaging Honest Jon’s Auto LLC for services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms apply to all users of our website, mobile services, and any other interactions with our company.
2. Labor Rate
Our standard labor rate is $135 per hour.
This rate applies to both diagnostic and repair services unless otherwise quoted in writing. Emergency or after-hours services may incur a higher labor rate, which will be communicated in advance.
3. Estimates & Authorization
All service work will be preceded by an estimate. No repairs will be completed without your authorization. Authorization may be given in person, by phone, text, or email.
4. Refund Policy

Labor: Labor charges are non-refundable once work has begun.

Parts: New, unused parts may be eligible for a refund. A restocking fee may apply.

Deposits: Deposits for special-order parts or diagnostic services are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

All refunds are subject to car processing fee, non returnable parts and other losses.

All refunds are subject to change and shop approval
5. Warranty Policy
We stand behind our work. Honest Jon’s Auto LLC offers the following warranties:

Labor Warranty: 12-month /Unlimited mile limited warranty on qualifying labor.

Parts Warranty: We honor the manufacturer’s warranty on parts installed by us.

Exclusions: Wear-and-tear items (e.g., brake pads, belts), used parts, customer-supplied parts, and unauthorized tampering void the warranty.

Warranty Claims: All warranty claims are subject to change/approval.

There is no warranty or guarantee on customer provided parts.
6. Washington Consumer Rights Disclosure
As a consumer in Washington State, you have the right to:

Receive a written or verbal estimate before work begins (RCW 46.71.031).

Authorize all work before it is performed.

Be provided with a detailed invoice including parts and labor breakdown.

Retain replaced parts upon request at the time of authorization.

File a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General if you feel your rights were violated.
7. Mobile Services Disclaimer
As a mobile repair provider, we perform services at your location. The customer is responsible for ensuring:

The work area is safe and legally accessible.

The vehicle is in a suitable state for service (not blocked, off-limits, or inaccessible).

Parking or service-related permits are in place if required.
We reserve the right to decline service if working conditions are unsafe or unreasonable.
8. Limitation of Liability
Honest Jon’s Auto LLC is not liable for:

Loss of vehicle use, towing fees, storage fees, or incidental damages.

Pre-existing issues or damage not related to the service provided.

Customer-supplied parts that fail or do not fit.
9. Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. Any personal data collected through our website or during service interactions is used solely for communication, billing, or service coordination purposes. We do not sell or share your information with third parties without consent.
10. Modifications to terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and effective immediately unless otherwise stated.
